Diablo mainly starts out in a town called; Tristram. It is where the beginning of the story takes place. The king of Tristram falls to some demons in Tristrams Church. The Prince is tempted by Diablos Soulstone and sticks it in his head. He does this because the stone promises him complete power of everything. He then turns into the demon himself. The prince was a fool to trust the lord of Terror. Later on a hero arises in Tristram and defeats Diablo. He sacrifices his own sanity to hold the beast inside of him with all of his willpower. Now continuing on to Diablo II, the hero begins to lose power. Diablo is beginning to take him over. The hero keeps conflicting with the demon inside him. The hero has a voice that always says to go to "The East". The hero goes to the east and gets to Tal Rashas Tomb. Tal Rasha is the Guardian of Baal: Lord of Destruction's Soulstone. Diablo told the hero to go there to get the soulstone! Diablo then goes to Kurast and reunites with his brother: Mephisto. Diablo then also reunites with his old body and enters Hell. The old hero is now gone. Diablo is now in Hell. That's not a good thing. Diablo is then defeated by a new Hero!!! But there is only one thing, Baal is loose! Baal then goes to Mt. Arreat. Harrogath is the protector city for the WorldStone. But Baal's power can easily overtake Harrogaths main forces. The hero Defeats Baal. But the worldstone is still corrupted and will bring Baal back. Tyreal the ArchAngel then destroys the WorldStone. The world will totally change, Forever.
